Should you link your Facebook and Instagram accounts together?

Yes! If your business has both an Instagram page and Facebook page, then it’s a great idea to link these pages together! Why? Since 2012, Facebook has taken over Instagram and has been introducing cross-functionality between the platforms. These advances make it easier than ever to manage both accounts simultaneously. So what are the benefits of linking these two accounts?

1. Posting across multiple platforms

Rather than posting the same content by logging into two different accounts, linking your social platforms makes it easier than ever to post to both accounts at the same time!   4. Click ‘Connect Account,’ and add your Instagram username and password.

The Instagram method:

  1. Go to your Instagram profile.
  2. Click ‘Edit Profile.’
  3. In the Public Business/Profile Information tab, click ‘Page.’
  4. Select your Facebook page you want to connect it to. Or create a Facebook page by tapping ‘Create a new Facebook page.’
